Eating the grape peel and seed can inhibit growing of cancer cells
Many
people usually spit out the peel and seed when they eat grapes.
Professors suggest that it should be eaten them all even though
the texture of grape peel and seed are not good enough. It is because
the grape peel and seeds contain lots of healthy ingredients that
the pulp is lacked.
Professor Han Ping, from College of Public
Health at Zheng Zhou University, introduced that the grape peel
and seed contain several types of Polyphenol. The Polyphenol has
the effect of anti-oxidation, anti-aging, can clear the spare free
radicals. Nowadays, the anti-oxidation function of grape seed has
been generally acknowledged and the significance is as Vitamins.
The grape peels contain high performance of anti-cancer component,
can inhibit the cancer cell growth and cut down the probability
of cardiovascular disease.
Grape wine is very good for our health.
It is because grape peel and seed are used while producing wine.
Han Ping said, There is a component called OPC contained in grape
seed, can strengthen the immunity and anti-aging.
Eating the grape peel and seed will not
course dyspepsia, because most of them are dietary fiber. You can
just eat them by chewing up.
There is white powder on the grape peel.
Some people would like to wash all of them. ‘Actually, the white
powder on the grape is fruit powder, the component is Fructose,
no harm to human body.’ Han Ping said. Grapes can be cleaned by
running water, or soak in salty water. Grapes can only be washed
by detergent with whole peel.
